HDfury Diva with 4K HDR, Dolby Vision and LLDV support 4. HDfury Diva: four HDMI inputs, two HDMI outputs and audio output
Some HDMI problems never seem to go away. The projector that cannot show Dolby Vision. The older receiver that goes silent the moment you open Netflix on the television. The capture card that wants clean 1080p while you want to watch in 4K HDR. The source that boots into a black screen and an HDCP error. The HDfury Diva was built to end all of them at once, in one box that sits in the middle of your setup and makes every device agree.
The Diva is a 4x2 HDMI matrix, scaler and audio extractor running at the full 18Gbps of HDMI 2.0b: 4K60 4:4:4 at 600MHz on every input. It reads what each source sends, decides what each display can accept, and converts whatever sits in between: resolution, HDR to SDR, colour space, colour depth, EDID and HDCP. It does this live, for two displays and an AVR at the same time, without you touching a cable.
What people use the HDfury Diva for
- Dolby Vision on a projector or display that never had it. An Apple TV 4K, Nvidia Shield, Zidoo or Panasonic player sends Low Latency Dolby Vision as soon as the Diva presents the right EDID, and you set the target brightness yourself so the picture is neither dull nor oversaturated.
- Atmos from the TV's own apps into an older AVR. Netflix, Disney+ and Prime now live inside the television. Connect that TV to the Diva and it extracts eARC audio up to Dolby Atmos over TrueHD, or ARC audio up to Atmos over Dolby Digital Plus, and hands it to any receiver through a dedicated HDMI audio output.
- 4K HDR on the big screen, clean 1080p SDR everywhere else. The second output tone maps down to 1080p SDR with a choice of profiles while the main output keeps the full 4K60 HDR picture. Ideal for a capture card, a streaming setup, an older second display or a room with older equipment.
- The end of the black screen and the HDCP error. Fifteen HDCP engines decrypt every input and re-encrypt each output independently, converting HDCP 2.2 to 1.4 and back on all channels at once. An HDCP 2.2 source finally reaches a display that was never HDCP 2.2 compliant.
- Switching that actually works with Apple TV, Shield and Xbox. Those devices keep sending +5V in standby, which is why ordinary auto switching picks the wrong input. The Diva watches the TMDS clock instead and follows the source that is really playing.
- Full control over what each source is told. 100 EDID tables, your own uploads, a copy taken from a connected display, or Automix that combines the real capabilities of both displays and lets you force the flags you want.
- A system that reacts to the content. Send RS232 or IP commands to your projector the moment the signal turns into HDR10, Dolby Vision, 3D or SDR, so the picture mode changes by itself.
- Ambient light and a built-in lag tester. The optional LED strip is driven by the actual video signal inside the Diva, not by a camera or an app. The supplied light sensor measures the true input lag of any display up to 4K60 HDR.
Everything is controlled from a browser
The Diva has an embedded web server, so any computer, phone or tablet on your network configures it, updates its firmware and shows exactly what is on the cable: resolution, chroma, colour depth, HDCP version, EOTF, colorimetry, MaxCLL and MaxFALL. No driver, no software to install. There is also an OLED display and four buttons on the unit itself, and IR, RS232, IP and CEC control for integration into any control system.
